Greenway Square Retirement Community

I am blessed to be living here at Coronado Villa. I consider it my forever home. I know I made the correct choice when I decided to move here. If Coronado Villa had not been here, I would still be living in Tucson waiting for something new to come along. I'm glad I didn't have to wait.

Highly impressed from day one. A very welcoming environment for family and friends. The staff is very personable and approachable. My mom has had a couple of health emergencies and they responded to her "button" right away and took care of her with compassion and professionalism while waiting for medics to arrive. Facility common areas and dining room are always spotless. Professional and caring staff from the dining room to maintenance to housekeeping to management.

The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the food is great. The move-in process was smooth. I would recommend this place to others.

Early in 2023 I joined my parents in searching for a place for them to move after selling their house. In their mid 80’s. my parents remain active and wanted a place where the staff and residents are positive about senior life and where the apartments, activities and dining facilities were appealing. One of the first stops we made was at Greenway Square, a RLC location in Indian Land SC. Quite honestly, it was love at first site for my parents and me. But we still felt obligated to visit other facilities due to the substantial cost that all senior living facilities require. So after visiting many different places, from Continual Care ones, to Senior Apartments with Assisted Living options, we all still kept visualizing the experience we had when we visited Greenway Square. My parents moved in around the first of June and I am back to now for a visit with my wife. I can confirm that it is everything promised. Starting with husband and wife management team Greg and Glenna Foster, the staff have been welcoming, helpful and genuinely caring. They all take time to constantly chat with the resident in the dining room and in the hallways. My parents have gotten involved with many of the activities that are available and are especially fond of the chair yoga and stretching classes. In fact my mom and dad now take the stairs to their second floor apartment instead of the elevator due to their increased fitness, My mom says she (and her artificial knee) has not felt this good in many years. Now lets talk about the food! I can honestly say that when we visit there is NO reason to take my parents out. The food is restaurant quality, chef prepared, and provided breakfast, lunch and dinner. The main dish choices are different at each meal and scratch made. So are soups, salads and dessert! Sunday brunch includes Prime Rib! And my Dads favorite things- 24/7 soft serve ice cream, snacks and a designer coffee machine. All this wonderful food is included in your rent. I could go on, but it would be too long. The list of activities, trips and celebrations are lengthy. We are staying in the on-site guest suite available first come first serve for brief stays (at less then hotel cost). My parents are very happy, and my sister and I are also thrilled knowing that they are enjoying their retirement without worry. I am happy we took the time to compare communities and do the careful math to understand how different places charge ( separate meal allowances or limited meals, activity charges etc) so that we understood that the rent here , while high, is actually the best value based on it being one all inclusive fee.

Greg, Glenna and the entire staff who made our Anniversary / Birthday dinner so special. We cannot thank you enough for the wonderful meal, the friendship - the caring - and much more. Greg and Gleena Foster first and foremost show a great deal of compassion and caring for each and every resident at Greenway Squares. They provide an environment that meets the needs of each and every resident on an individual basis. While working closely with the community in seeking resources that will benefit the facility and the residents. Greg and Gleena are very accommodating in working with the agencies that are providing care for the residents that are in need. As Chaplain for Epic Care Health they have provided opportunities to serve the Greenway Squares residents with a work shop group offering an outlet for each resident. Greenway Squares provides the residents with a menu prepared by a chef which compares to a 5 star restaurant, this is also available to the residents family members as well as agencies that are involved in the Greenway Squares community. I'm thankful for the caring and compassionate hearts that Greg and Gleena not only provide for Greenaway Squares but also the surrounding community.

My stepfather has lived at Greenway for a year and a half. He was 95 and just passed away last week. Each time we would visit him he would say that he had a place called “home”. He loved every minute there. The staff, the food, and the residents have been such a comfort and delight to him. I will miss going there. Greg and Glenna the managers were so kind and accommodating as we needed to clear out his place. They were gracious to comp our meals while we transitioned out. I highly recommend Greenway! A place called home to so many.

I was visiting Greenway Square in Indian Land SC for the funeral services of a former resident & friend. I stayed in the guest quarters. I must say, that the facilities are kept in excellent condition … clean & very neat in all aspects (guest room, restrooms, hallways, dining area, etc.) The staff is excellent…very professional, friendly, and always helpful. I can highly recommend this community to friends and family.

Greenway Square is a New Resort Style Community for 55+ Seniors here in Indian Land S.C. Their Managment Team Glenna & Greg Foster who are friendly and professionals have established roots in Indian Land and continue to reach out with supporting many community functions. They have an active roll with the VFW Post 12136 in support of our Veterans in this community. For example, Greenway Square has sponsored multi car shows together with the Leader of the SCCL (Sun City Carolina Lakes) Car Club, Peter Bizzoco (Vietnam Veteran) to help introduce both retirement community residents to each other and enjoy seeing classic cars from yesteryear gone bye. Greenway square will be sponsoring an upcoming VFW Post 12136 Car show this Oct 7th with food & drinks to express their support for our veterans of this community. The Management Team of Greenway Square have embraced the community and will continue to have a positive and active presence for years to come. We welcome them to this Community with open arms.

My parents are so happy to be living there! They’ve developed close friendships with many of the residents and employees. They are always kept busy with fun activities and events. The food is exceptional!

The VFW Post 12136 Honor Guard is proud to have Greenway Square as a neighbor in our community. Greenway Square has sponsored events for the community, it's residents and the VFW. The VFW is a Veteran Service Organization that's say's "NO ONE DOES MORE FOR VETERANS". Greenway Square's management team ( Glenna and Greg Foster) are always looking for ways to help. What our family likes the most about the Greenway Square community is the staff. They are very friendly and they do listen and care for the residents. Based on the experience we have had so far we would 100% recommend this community to others, I doubt there are any others that can compare.

I knew this facility was the right one for us on my first visit, and we leased our lovely and spacious apartment when we visited the second time. The Marketing Director is knowledgeable and warm and welcoming. The management and staff are so gracious and attentive, the facility is beautiful, and is kept immaculate. Activities are varied and fun. One of my first impressions was the happiness and friendliness of staff and residents. Greenway Square is tops in good management and amenities. If there were a higher rating than 5, I'd give it. I highly recommend this lovely facility. It is our forever home now.

We picked this facility because it was a new community. Beautifully appointed. Great amenities. Excellent chef. Friendly, welcoming staff. I like the apartments because, they are brand new, spacious, and nicely appointed, with a well-equipped kitchen, full-size washer/dryer, large closets, and patios/balconies. I would highly recommend it.

So reassuring and calm during such a stressful emergency with my wife. Thank you.

Absolutely love Greenway, and more importantly my grandfather loves it there. The staff is excellent, the facility is brand new and the food is seriously DELICIOUS. We have started doing most holidays in the dining room because of how good the food is. Glenna and Greg sure know how to take care of their guests around the clock. If you are looking for a place for your loved one, i would recommend this 1000 times. :)

Could not be happier. Very clean facility ran by excellent staff and management. Extremely high quality food driven by a top tier chef. Our large family likes to drop by Grandpa's for dinner at least once a week. The staff is very accommodating and gracious toward us when we visit. This allows us to gladly grab a meal with Grandpa without feeling like we are imposing. Management always stops by to greet our table. We feel like the facility is ran by really good people. Location is also convenient to south Charlotte area allowing family easy access to visit.

I can only hope that when the time comes for us to move into independent living from our home in Sun City Carolina Lakes, that they have an open unit. Glenna and Greg, the husband/wife team that manages the facility are genuinely warm and caring individuals who go out of their way to make residents feel valued and appreciated. The building is beautiful, the amenities plentiful and the staff solicitous and caring. The food is beyond delicious, and families are encouraged to join their loved ones for meals and other special events. If you are considering independent living, you won’t want to miss touring this facility and meeting Glenna, Greg, Cindy, Abby and all the staff at Greenway! Welcome Home!

It has been a full year now after moving our beloved father/grandfather into Greenway Square and I am very happy to report the family could not be happier! He is thrilled with everything the facility has to offer! Incredible management, phenomenal and attentive staff, clear and concise communications on all things important and the entire facility neat as a pin. The food is incredible and the housekeeping impeccable. So very glad the family helped Dad choose this great place for his retirement. Thank you!

I feel blessed that my Mother calls Greenway home, and highly recommend Greenway if anyone is looking for a new place to call home.

Give the Chef a raise.

We have recently moved into our new apartment at Greenway Square Retirement Community. The amenities and living conditions are perfect for us as we transition from homeowners to leisure retirement living. Three well-prepared meals a day and we really look forward to the prime rib Sunday brunch menu. Having our apartment cleaned once a week is an added bonus. Our managers are always open to suggestions.

Greenway Square is an amazing place to work! The entire staff works together as a team, supporting each other as we serve the residents. I love hearing residents tell their friends and people they meet, "you just have to move in here because living here has changed my life!" Greg and Glenna Foster model servant leadership as our Community Managers and the results are a community where residents and staff feel loved, cared for, respected, and honored to be part of our Greenway Square family.

Greenway square is a great place to work with amazing opportunities. Very relaxed atmosphere and the staff always goes above and beyond. Our residents are amazing people. I truly enjoy my job.

Charles deserves a "GOLD MEDAL" for services beyond the call of duty. In the absence of managers, he has stepped up and single-handedly arranged for people to correct a major water problem on the first floor. Great job, Charles!

Kathy, our housekeeper, goes above and beyond all week for not only us residents but for the staff as well. And she always does so with her beautiful smile. Thanks for everything, Kathy!

Cannot say enough about Greenway Square. Everything is top notch! The staff and residents are all warm and welcoming. The food is second-to-none. The location is close to anything you could want. The building is beautiful. We just moved from the north and could not be more satisfied.

My dad is in the process of moving into Greenway Square. I am so impressed with everyone and everything there. The residents are friendly, the food is delicious, the building is beautiful, and the amenities are wonderful. It's all inclusive and there are no add-on fees or extra charges. Best of all are the managers, Greg and Glenna. You can tell they really love the people and what they do. Greenway Square is the best independent living in the area!
